A MitzvahManager service template is a reusable ceremony or service structure you define once and apply to your B'nai Mitzvah services. Each template captures the honors, service roles, prayers, and custom assignment detail fields your congregation uses, so a new student service starts fully structured instead of blank. Administrators manage templates from Organization settings, and edits can flow out to the recurring services built from a template.

When you create a B'nai Mitzvah service for a student, you can build it from one of your saved templates so the honors, roles, and prayers are already in place. That keeps every student's ceremony consistent and saves staff from assembling the same structure by hand each time.
Because recurring services hold their own copy of a template's structure, editing a template can push the change out to the recurring services built from it and their upcoming occurrences. Items that already have people assigned are preserved, so updating a template never wipes out work that is already underway.
Service template creation is available to administrators even before your organization chooses a subscription, so you can build out and refine your ceremony structures while you evaluate MitzvahManager. Only administrators can create or change templates, which keeps your shared ceremony structures under trusted control.
