MitzvahManager Messaging for B'nai Mitzvah Students and Families
Messages are conversations about one student, inside MitzvahManager. Staff, guardians and the student can post, and each message has a visibility that controls who can read it.
Every message belongs to a student, so the whole conversation stays on that student. Staff start messages, and staff, guardians and the student can reply.
Each message is Staff Only, Staff & Guardians, or Everyone. Staff can use any level, guardians can post to Staff Only or Everyone, and students post to Everyone.
Messages appear on the Messages page and on the student's Messages tab. Unread messages are counted on Messages in the sidebar and on the student's Messages tab.
Authors can edit their own messages; each edit is kept and the message is marked edited. The author or an administrator can remove a message. Staff can filter the Messages page to one student.
Staff (administrators and the student's primary tutor), guardians and the student, each at the visibility their role allows.
