Guardian Access for B'nai Mitzvah Families | MitzvahManager
Guardian access lets a B'nai Mitzvah student's parents or guardians follow their preparation from their own account. Administrators add guardians to a student record, and guardians then see that student's assignments, appointments, and practice — with a consent process for students who need it.
Each student record can hold one or more guardians, stored with their name, email, and optional phone number. Guardians sign in to their own view where they can follow the assignments, appointments, and practice for their child.
A guardian connected to several students sees each child clearly, with the student's name shown on assignments and appointments so nothing is confused between siblings. The guardian home brings today's work and lessons together in one place.
When a student needs guardian consent, MitzvahManager sends a consent request to the guardian's email. The guardian reviews and attests to the required permissions and accepts the terms and privacy policy, then confirms by email before access is granted, and each step is recorded for the organization.
Guardians are default recipients for their child's updates, and notification preferences can be tuned per person for assignments, appointments, services, and messages, so the reminders a family receives match how involved they want to be. Guardians can also take part in the student's message thread within their allowed visibility, keeping questions about a lesson or an assignment in one place instead of scattered email. A guardian tied to a pending consent request is protected from accidental removal until consent is resolved.
A guardian sees their own child's assignments, appointments, and practice from a dedicated guardian view, including a home dashboard of the day's work and lessons.
Yes. When a guardian is connected to multiple students, each child is shown separately and the student's name appears on their assignments and appointments.
The guardian receives an email consent request, attests to the required permissions and accepts the terms and privacy policy, and confirms by email. Access is granted only after the request is approved.
