An administrator sets a reminder schedule for each type of event — appointments, assignment due dates, and services — choosing up to two lead times from one week, three days, one day, or one hour before. MitzvahManager then sends the reminders to the right people so students and families are prompted ahead of time.
MitzvahManager watches each active student and raises flags when something needs a tutor's attention: no upcoming appointment scheduled, overdue assignments, low recent practice, or an approaching ceremony date. These are the same signals that feed progress tracking, so the flag on a student card and the reason behind their status badge always tell one consistent story. They turn quiet gaps — the student who has not booked a next lesson, the assignment that slipped past due — into visible, actionable items instead of things a busy coordinator only notices too late.
Flags appear as a Needs Attention or At Risk badge on each student card with a short reason, and the student's detail page gathers them into a Priority Actions list. Every item links to where you can resolve it, such as scheduling the next lesson or reviewing overdue work.
Students, guardians, tutors, and administrators can each have their reminder and notification preferences tuned per student, and reminders are suppressed when there is no one to notify. Families get timely nudges without staff being buried in noise.
