B'nai Mitzvah Lesson Scheduling & Appointments | MitzvahManager
MitzvahManager appointments are the scheduled lessons and meetings that keep B'nai Mitzvah preparation moving: one-on-one tutoring sessions with a set time, duration, location, and attendees. Tutors and administrators create them, and students and guardians see the appointments that involve them.
Create a student lesson appointment with a title, description, location, start time, and a duration from ten minutes up to three hours. Each appointment is tied to a student and its attendees, so the right people are always attached to the session and it lands on that student's record and on the shared calendar next to their service date and assignment due dates. Because the appointment knows who its attendees are, reminders can go out to exactly the right people before it starts.
For weekly or regular lessons, turn on a recurring series and set the pattern once instead of booking each session by hand. The series keeps future lessons on the calendar so ongoing tutoring stays consistent.
After a lesson, staff record an outcome: whether the student attended, was missed, or the lesson was cancelled, along with quick tags such as Well Prepared, Great Progress, or Needs Review and optional staff and family notes. A Needs Outcome tab highlights past appointments still waiting for a recap.
Upcoming and past appointments are organized into clear tabs, and attendees can receive reminders before each session. Guardians see the appointments for their children, and administrators can filter to view every appointment across the organization.
Administrators and staff members can create appointments. Students and guardians see the appointments that involve them but do not schedule.
Yes. When creating an appointment you can turn on a recurring series and set the pattern, so ongoing lessons are placed on the calendar for you.
Each past appointment can have an outcome recorded — attended, missed, or cancelled — with optional progress tags and notes, and a Needs Outcome tab shows which ones still need one.
Attendees can receive reminders before an appointment based on the reminder schedule your organization configures.
