Attention rules use milestones and blockers.
Student Attention: Know Who Needs a Look, and Why
Student attention flags students who need a look, using rules your organization sets. Each flag names the rule and the numbers behind it. A default set of rules works from the start.
Signals are facts about a student, such as days since they last practiced, overdue milestones and days until their ceremony. Rules are conditions on those signals, each with a severity and an audience. When a student meets a rule, it creates a flag that names the rule and shows the numbers.
Every organization starts with default rules: no upcoming appointment, overdue assignments, low recent practice, an approaching date with milestones unfinished, overdue or at-risk milestones, and open blockers.
Change the rules in Settings under Student Health, or for one Program on its Health Rules tab. You can change a threshold, set a rule's severity to Info, Needs attention or Critical, show it to all staff or only administrators, limit it to a program type or Program, turn it off, or add your own.
On the Students page, View as Table shows each student's Attention level, and the Attention rules column can show the rules behind it. A rule set to administrators only shows only to administrators. Each person sees flags for the students they can see.
