How MitzvahManager Pricing Works
MitzvahManager is one product, priced by the number of Active students. You pay yearly for student seats, and each Active student uses one.
Each Active student uses one seat. Not enrolled, Paused, Completed, and Withdrawn students use no seat and keep their records. A student you add is Not enrolled and uses a seat once you enroll them. Staff and guardians never use a seat. The price per student drops as you add seats. When you choose a number of students, the page shows the price per student and the yearly total.
Administrators change a student's standing from the ⋯ menu on the student's page: Pause Student, Mark as Completed, Mark as Withdrawn or Reactivate Student. Wrap Up after the ceremony also completes a student. A student who stops being Active frees their seat right away. Enrolling or reactivating a student needs an open seat. A ceremony date never changes standing or seats.
The billing contact changes seats in Settings under Subscription, with Manage Subscription. Choose the number of students, then Update Subscription.
An administrator starts the subscription with Get Student Seats in Settings under Subscription. After that, only the organization's billing contact can change seats or cancel. The billing contact does not have to be an administrator; if they are not, they find Subscription in the sidebar. To cancel, use Billing Portal in Settings under Subscription. The subscription stays active until the end of the paid year.
You can set up most of MitzvahManager before you subscribe: your time zone and most of Settings, Locations, Service Schedules, Staff Roles, Programs and Service Templates, and inviting staff from Staff. These need a subscription:
If a subscription ends, your settings are kept, and most become read-only until you renew.
TropeTrainer practice licenses are bought separately and do not use seats. Your organization can buy licenses and give one to a student with Grant License, or a guardian can buy one for their student from My Account.
You need a seat for every Active student. Pause, complete or withdraw students who are no longer preparing, then reduce your seats.
Only your organization's billing contact can change seats or cancel.
You can still add students: they start Not enrolled and use no seat. You cannot enroll or reactivate a student until you add a seat or free one.
